Arizona State is in desperate need of a quarterback in the 2019 recruiting class, something exacerbated by the transfers of Blake Barnett and Brady White. They’ve offered scholarships to 14 passers in the 2019 class, though most have already committed elsewhere.
That list now includes 4-star in-state product Jacob Conover, who committed to BYU on Sunday.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Conover, from Chandler, Arizona, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 216 player in the country as well as the ninth-best pro-style passer. Per 247Sports he is set to take a two-year LDS mission before joining the Cougars for the 2021 season.
