Come November, it will be time for coach Bobby Hurley’s squad to hit the road.
The Arizona State Sun Devils are heading to Las Vegas.

Arizona State was named as one of four teams to play in November’s MGM Resorts Main Event basketball tournament at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Sun Devils will take on Mississippi State in the semifinals on Nov. 19 with a chance to play the winner of Utah State and St. Mary’s.
Hurley’s team started white-hot last season before cooling off and finishing 20-12 (8-10), which was good enough to land the Sun Devils in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament. Though they lost to Syracuse, the program appears to be trending upward under Hurley, who has rejuvenated Arizona State’s basketball fan base and signed three 4-star players in its incoming class, with a fourth 4-star committed to join the Sun Devils as well.
On the same date last year, the Sun Devils faced UC Irvine. They’ll see a substantial upgrade in opponent when squaring off with Mississippi State.
