What Bobby Hurley accomplished at Arizona State in his third season figures to serve as the foundation for great things to come. That can be seen in the Sun Devils’ recruiting, which resulted in a strong 2018 class and notable commitments already in the 2019 and 2020 classes.
ASU even had a commitment for 2021, emphasis on the word “had.”
2021 forward Michael Foster decommitted from Arizona State, per his coach Chianti Clay. Foster is recognized as one of the top prospects in the class.

Michael Foster is a 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward from Milwaukee who is set to begin his sophomore year of high school in the fall. He had pledged to ASU in December shortly after an unofficial visit, but the prospect who is more than two years away from being able to sign a national letter of intent has apparently had a change of heart. Or maybe he’s just a normal 14- or 15-year-old who probably shouldn’t be making major life decisions at such a young age.
