Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Monday that defensive end Darius Slade will transfer, indicating that the 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive end will take his talents to the Pac-12 and join Arizona State for the upcoming season.

From Montclair, N.J., Slade was a part of the 2014 OSU recruiting class and never considered a Pac-12 school. Slade will have three years of eligibility and will play immediately for the Sun Devils.
