Arizona football picked up its first commitment from the Class of 2019 on Saturday night, when 3-star cornerback Logan Wilson posted on Twitter that he was “110 percent committed” to the University of Arizona.

Wilson is from Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 110 cornerback in the nation and the 137th-ranked recruit in the football-mad state of Texas.
The only other Pac-12 school to offer Wilson is Oregon, though he did receive a number of offers from around the country, and his recruitment certainly won’t stop with a verbal commitment posted on Twitter.
“Coaching,” he told 247Sports of his decision to commit to Arizona, “and it’s a fresh start. I want to start something new, and build on to the new era and make stuff shake in Tucson.”
Coaching, indeed. Wilson is the first recruit to commit under new coach Kevin Sumlin. As Wilson wrote on Twitter, it represents a new “EraZona.”
