Practice has not yet begun for the Arizona Wildcats, and yet they are already down one receiver, as Devaughn Cooper has reportedly left the program.
Cooper, a redshirt freshman, saw action in two games last season, catching one pass for 15 yards in a 47-28 win over Hawaii before an injury ruled him out for the remainder of 2016.
I'm told WR Devaughn Cooper left the Arizona program a week or two ago. Exact reasons unknown. Had been viewed as possible breakout guy.

The news is particularly troubling for the Wildcats, as they are already without three of their top four receivers from a season in which they finished a mere 3-9. Cooper, a three-star recruit out of Narbonne High School in Los Angeles, was poised for a breakout season, as he would have played opposite of Shun Brown, Arizona’s leading pass-catcher from 2016.
