The Arizona Wildcats are going overseas in an attempt to fill out their 2018 recruiting class.
Belgian forward Omar Thielemans is going to have an official visit at Arizona on Friday, according to Thielemans’ social media page. The Wildcats have reportedly offered Thielemans a scholarship.
Thielemans plays for Belgian club team BC Ostend. He is a 6-foot-6, 18 year-old small forward who would be part of Arizona’s 2018 recruiting class.
Arizona only has one signee thus far in the 2018 recruiting class. The FBI’s ongoing pay-for-play probe involving college basketball teams has negatively affected Arizona, a school named in the investigation.
Shooting guard Devonaire Doutrive officially signed with the Wildcats this week. Doutrive represents the lone Arizona signee.
