Shooting guard prospect Jared Butler, rated the No. 2 player in the state of Louisiana in the 2018 recruiting class, is still eyeing Baylor as a potential destination.

The 6-foot-2 Butler, a 4-star prospect per 247Sports composite rankings, released his top six schools through a post on his Twitter account Tuesday, and Baylor made the list.
Baylor was joined by USC, Texas, Alabama, Wichita State and Virginia on Butler’s list. Butler received additional offers from Houston and Creighton during his recruitment.
The Reserve, La., native is not only one of highest-rated players in the state, but also the No. 94 prospect in the nation among the 2018 class, according to 247Sports.
