Baylor men’s basketball has been selected to play in the Global Sports Emerald Coast Classic on Thanksgiving Weekend in Niceville, Fla., per ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
Global Sports Emerald Coast Classic field this year will include Cincinnati, Baylor, Ole Miss and George Mason. Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 23-24 at The Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla.

Ole Miss, Cincinnati and George Mason are the other teams that will headline the tournament, which will be played from Nov. 23-24 2018 on the Northwest Florida State College campus.
Baylor’s Big 12-foe, TCU, played in and won 2017 edition of the Emerald Coast Classic. Matchups for the 2018 event are to be announced.
Baylor is coming off a 2017-18 campaign that ended in an NIT appearance. The Bears were awarded the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament, but endured a second round loss to Mississippi State. The 2018-19 season will mark Scott Drew’s 16th season as Baylor’s coach.
