Baylor recruiting: Bears land massive in-state OT prospect Connor Galvin
The 2018 Baylor recruiting class landed a big commitment Tuesday in offensive tackle Connor Galvin.
The Katy (Texas) lineman announced his commitment on Twitter. He is rated as the No. 65 overall prospect in Texas in the 247Sports composite rankings.

“I would like to thank my family, friends, and God for helping me come to this decision and supporting me along the way,” Galvin wrote in his post. “I would also like to thank Coach Rhule and the rest of the Baylor coaching stafffor giving me this opportunity.”
Galvin is listed at 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds. He chose the Bears over offers from TCU, Florida, Texas Tech and UCLA, among others.
The Bears now have 17 commits for the Class of 2018. Baylor has the No. 24-ranked class in the 247Sports composite rankings.
