The 2018 Baylor recruiting class got a late addition on Tuesday with Navarro College (Corsicana, Texas) linebacker Jacob Copeland.
The 3-star junior college recruit announced his decision on Twitter. He is expected to enroll in time to be on the roster this fall. As a JUCO transfer, he will be eligible to play immediately. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining after spending just one year at the JUCO level.

Copeland is the 23rd player in Baylor’s 2018 class, and the only linebacker in the group. He also can play safety, and Baylor previously had just two safeties signed for 2018 in Christian Morgan and J.T. Woods.
The Bears have the No. 30-ranked class in the country and the No. 4 class in the Big 12, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
