Baylor softball will make the trip down Highway 6 to the College Station regional in the NCAA Tournament this season.
The Lady Bears made Texas A&M’s regional, where they’ll join the Aggies, Prairie View and McNeese State.
Baylor was ranked No. 17 in the latest USA Today/Coaches Poll, and 16 teams will host a regional. The Lady Bears have a claim to being the first team out.
In 2018, Baylor posted a 36-16 record and went 12-6 in conference play.
The Lady Bears have made the NCAA Tournament for eight straight years, beginning in 2011. Baylor has a solid chance of advancing out of the College Station regional, as the Aggies are the No. 15 national seed.
