The recruit from San Antonio John Jay High School has seen his stock soar in recent months. Currently, he’s the No. 14 pro-style quarterback in the Class of 2019 according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
He’s also Baylor’s first high-profile quarterback recruit this cycle and the top-ranked recruit in the Bears’ eight-person class.
Baylor snagged dual-threat quarterback Gerry Bohanon in the Class of 2018, and apparently seem to be building quite the quarterback stable. If the Bears can keep up their solid recruiting efforts, their rebuilding under Matt Rhule could be shortened tremendously.
