Offensive lineman Maea Teuhema was suspended indefinitely by the LSU football program this week, and he has reportedly received permission to talk to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
Sports Illustrated’s Bruce Feldman reported Thursday that the Sooners and Cowboys are both in the running to land Teuhema. He’s also considering USC and Houston.
LSU granted Teuhema a release to transfer Wednesday. His suspension was related to academic issues.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, Teuhema started 21 games over the last two seasons for the Tigers. He has a redshirt season available.
Teuhema was a 4-star recruit in the Class of 2015, according to the 247Sports composite. He was ranked as the No. 38 overall player in the country coming out of high school.
