In late March, Syracuse redshirt sophomore small forward Matthew Moyer announced his intention to transfer from Jim Boeheim’s program. Several schools have since inquired about Moyer’s newly-available services, including Big 12 programs Texas and Kansas State.
According to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Moyer has plans to visit the Longhorns and the Wildcats, as well as Florida, Xavier and Vanderbilt.

It’s unclear when Texas and Kansas State will host Moyer, a product of Gahanna, Ohio.
Last season for the Orange, the 6-8, 220-pound Moyer appeared in 35 games and started 20 for the Orange, who advanced to the Midwest regional semifinals before losing to Duke. Moyer averaged 3.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per game.
The former 4-star prospect will sit one season at the school of his choice and then be eligible for two after redshirting his freshman season with Syracuse.
