Boston College football: Sharrieff Grice reportedly retires due to injury

Boston College linebacker Sharrieff Grice has retired from football due to an injury, according to Rivals.com.

Grice reportedly suffered a concussion during Boston College’s spring game.

Grice played two seasons for the Eagles, starting once at middle linebacker in which he made six tackles and had a sack. He played in 12 games last season as a sophomore. The West Hartford (Conn.) native played in 10 games on special teams in his freshman season.

He originally committed to Boston College as a running back.
