Ranked by 247Sports as the No. 855 player in the 2019 class as well as the 58th-best weakside defensive end and the No. 16 prospect from Arizona, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Crocteau picked Cal over the likes of UCLA and Washington State.
Per Rivals.com’s Trace Travers, Crocteau picked the Golden Bears because he “had a checklist in mind” when taking his visit and the school and program met all his needs.
Crocteau is Cal’s third commit for 2019. At No. 42 nationally, the Bears currently have the third-best class in the Pac-12.
