The California Golden Bears finished in seventh place in the Pac-12, but the strength of that league was enough to help them earn a bid to the 2018 NCAA tournament. The Bears (34-19) will be part of the Athens Regional hosted by No. 7 seed Georgia.

Cal, which was 7-16 in Pac-12 play, will open the double-elimination regional Friday, May 18 against Northwestern.
Overall, seven Pac-12 schools made the 2018 tourney field with five set to host regionals.
