Clemson’s Christian Wilkins is one of the best defensive linemen in the country, but maybe Wilkins doesn’t need to be pigeon-holed into just one position.
While having some fun at the end of the Clemson 2018 spring game, the 330-pound Wilkins lined up as a safety in the Tigers defense.
On his second play from the secondary, he nearly sacked quarterback Trevor Lawrence on a safety blitz. Then two plays later, he came up from the safety spot to make a tackle for loss.
Check out the play here:

Man, what athleticism Wilkins possesses in order to pull that off at 330 pounds.
However, he did appear to be out of breath after just four plays. Safety doesn’t appear to be in his future. Actually, his career in the secondary is probably complete after just one series.
