The Clemson Tigers have received a verbal commitment from Louisiana linebacker Bryton Constantin, according to a report from Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated.com.
Constantin is a 3-star linebacker according to the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 640 overall player in the nation. He ranks No. 47 at his position and No. 22 in the state of Louisiana for the Class of 2019.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker plays his prep football at University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, which he helped lead to a state championship appearance in 2017. Constantin recorded 104 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and an interception in his junior season.
Constantin committed to Clemson over offers from Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Tennessee, to name a few. He’ll first be eligible to sign during the early signing period in December.
