Former Clemson guard Scott Spencer will transfer to La Salle, according to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. Spencer will have two years of eligibility left with the Explorers.

Spencer couldn’t crack the rotation for the Tigers, but he could have a big impact at a mid-major school like La Salle. He averaged 1.3 points in 7.7 minutes per game in 2017-18.
A long combo guard, Spencer’s defensive potential is clear — he’s 6-6 with solid athleticism. He struggled offensively at Clemson, though, shooting just 25 percent from the field as a sophomore.
