As the old Patches O’Houlihan once said, “If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.” It’s just Clemson Tigers defensive tackle Christian Wilkins has a very unusual tactic of dodging the ball.
The Clemson football team played dodgeball after the end of its final summer workout Monday. During the dodgeball game, the defensive tackle performed cartwheels in an effort to avoid the ball and distract the opponent, which was the offense, as the two sides of the ball squared off.
It’s impressive enough that the 310-pound Wilkins would be able to do cartwheels in any setting but also while dodging a ball is very impressive. Check it out and Clemson’s final full workout of the summer:
