The Colorado Buffaloes were struck a harmful blow on Tuesday when it was announced that two offensive linemen will not be on the team for 2018.
Per the Boulder Daily Camera’s Brian Howell:
Per a CU release, #cubuffs head football coach Mike MacIntyre announces that OL Dillon Middlemiss will end his football career to focus on graduating and redshirt freshman OL Grant Polley will sit out the 2018 season for personal reasons.

Dillon Middlemiss and Grant Polley were not starters, but both were expected to provide quality depth to the offensive line for the upcoming season. In fact, the 6-foot-5, 285-pound Middlemiss was one player who appeared to have made strides in the offseason.
I often ask #cubuffs football players and coaches who has impressed them this spring. One name I've heard several times is OL Dillon Middlemiss. The junior appears to have made a huge leap this spring.

Polley was an Under Armour All-American in the Class of 2017, and though he redshirted last season, he is a prospect to return for the 2019 season after taking a season off to deal with personal issues.
