Colorado cornerback Isaiah Oliver is among the most coveted defensive backs in the 2018 NFL Draft. But will he end up being picked in the first round on Thursday night? It sounds like it could happen.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday that Oliver could be taken in the first round if UCF cornerback Mike Hughes falls. Rapoport points out that the Seattle Seahawks – picking No. 18 – and the Atlanta Falcons – picking No. 26 – are among the teams interested in Oliver in the first round.
If #UCF CB Mike Hughes falls due to off-the-field concerns including the reasons he left UNC — as teams expect — don’t be surprised if #Colorado CB Isaiah Oliver takes his place in the first round. #Seahawks, #Falcons among those interested.

There are plenty of NFL draft analysts who are high on Oliver, including NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah.

Jeremiah projected the 6-foot, 201-pound corner to be a late first-round or early second-round selection. Oliver was a First Team All-Pac-12 selection in 2017.
