Bryan Antoine is one of the country’s top high school basketball players. So it’s only fitting that Duke have him high on their recruiting boards.
On Thursday evening, the New Jersey product gave the Blue Devils some good news as he unveiled his top five schools on Twitter. Duke is included along with Florida, Kansas, Kentucky and Villanova.

The 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard is the No. 7 player and No. 1 player at his position in the class of 2019, according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. The site also projects the Blue Devils as a runaway leader to land him, with 85% of the 21 Crystal Ball predictions favoring Duke.
One thing to watch with Duke’s pursuit of Antoine is the possibility of also receiving a commitment from his teammate, Scottie Lewis, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 8 player and No. 2 small forward in the 2019 recruiting class. But according to 247Sports recruiting analyst Adam Rowe, coach Mike Krzyzewski “has maintained that he wants to land both players not as a package deal, but as independent entities.”
It certainly appears that the program is much closer to landing Antoine at this point, though. And it will have an elite player on the roster whether or not Lewis joins him.
