Duke freshman guard Trevon Duval had an up-and-down 2017-18 on the floor, but nobody questioned his character off of it. Duval announced his decision to declare for the NBA draft and sign with an agent on Wednesday, but he made sure to offer a heartfelt goodbye to the Cameron Crazies.
“I loved my time here at Duke and I enjoyed every second of it. I want to thank all of the Duke fans, thank each of my teammates – they’re all brothers to me.”#TheBrotherhood #DukeintheNBA 🔵😈 pic.twitter.com/SwPLcRNwdf

Duval averaged 10.3 points and 5.6 assists per game for the Blue Devils and projects as a late first-round pick. He was a dynamic athlete, but his inconsistent outside shooting was often an issue.
Duke fans are hoping incoming floor general Tre Jones can serve as an upgrade at the point guard spot in 2018-19.
