Frank Ladson, the No. 3 overall wide receiver in the country, took a visit to Florida State on Tuesday, where he talked up the coaching staff, the campus and his interest level in the Seminoles.
The 6-foot-4, 170-pound wideout said he had a “good conversation,” with Florida State coach Willie Taggart and was impressed by the “nice campus,” per Josh Newberg of 247Sports.
When it came to his interest in the Seminoles, the 5-star receiver admitted there are many teams still in the running.
“I have a high interest level in FSU, but not only FSU, everybody,” said Ladson. “I want to find the best fit for me.”
The Miami (South Dade) receiver has offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Miami, Clemson, Georgia and other programs across the country. He’s predicted to at 88 percent to land with Clemson, with 12 percent going to Miami, per 247Sports’ Crystal Ball. Ladson de-committed from Florida back in December 2017 just months after committing in March.
Ladson is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He is a downfield threat, but can find space across the middle of the field and has the speed to extend away from defenders. He can also return kicks and is truly a dynamic athlete with the ball in his hands.
