Florida State is in the middle of spring football workouts and will finish up with its annual spring game on Saturday. Seminoles fans hope that it’s the start of a renewed and refreshed football program under the guidance of first-year coach Willie Taggart.
On Wednesday, a pretty cool moment took place as Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston, the Heisman Trophy winner and star of the 2013 national championship team, was back on campus. It turns out that he wasn’t just there to take in a practice session. Check out the video below:

You can’t blame Casey for being a little starstruck when Winston walked up to compliment him on the great job he had been doing. Casey’s reaction when reading that he’d be getting a scholarship is priceless, as well.
Student managers often don’t get much credit for the work they do in a daily basis to keep everything in order for the football team. It’s great to see Winston – and the team – appreciating one manager’s hard-working efforts.
