One of the top unsigned wideouts in the nation narrowed his list to six on Sunday, and Florida State made the cut.
Marcus Washington, a 6-foot-2, 193-pound receiver from Trinity Catholic in St. Louis, included the Seminoles in his final cut, and Willie Taggart hopes to add him to a recruiting class that 247Sports lists as the 11th best in the nation.

Washington is listed as the No. 9 wideout and the 59th overall player in the Class of 2019 by 247Sports. ESPN has him ranked as the 15th overall player, the third-best wideout and the top player in Missouri.
Florida State has one receiver signed for the class of 2019 — 4-star Maurice Goolsby. The Seminoles have four signed in the class of 2018, and adding Washington could give them a wealth of depth at the position for years to come.
