It looked like Florida State would have a good chance to land No. 1 all-purpose running back Sean Dollars when Willie Taggart jumped from the Ducks to the Seminoles. But Dollars committed to Oregon on Sunday, choosing to remain out west rather than flock east.
Big weekend for #Oregon: Ducks just went into SoCal & got a commitment from Sean Dollars, the nation’s No. 1 all-purpose back and teammate Jeremiah Criddell, a tall CB from CA’s Mater Dei, is listed as the No. 46 overall prospect and the No. 6 cornerback

A Class of 2019 runner with elite speed, Dollars would have been an exciting weapon for the Seminoles. That said, Florida State has rising sophomore Cam Akers as its workhorse, so this shouldn’t hurt all that badly.
Still, it would have been nice to land such an exciting talent. We’ll see if Taggart and his coaching staff will target other multi-purpose running backs with Dollars out of the picture.
