Georgia Tech men’s basketball coach Josh Pastner is being accused of sexual assault and sexual battery in Arizona for events that allegedly happened while he was coach of the Memphis men’s basketball program in February of 2016.
Pastner became the Georgia Tech men’s basketball coach a couple months later.
Pastner’s former friend, Ron Bell, and his girlfriend, Jennifer Pendley, are the accusers. The law suit they are filing in Pima County, Az. alleges that Pastner did several very inappropriate things in front of Pendley. The tweets below have more details:

Pastner and Bell were formerly friends, but that certainly isn’t true anymore. Bell, who is a recovering addict and an ex-convict, revealed text messages, receipts and photos to CBS in November that was evidence to back up the claim Pastner provided “impermissible benefits” to two Georgia Tech basketball players, Josh Okogie and Tardic Jackson.
Bell also claimed that Pastner knew about the violations. The NCAA suspended both players a handful of games, but Pastner has continued to deny any knowledge of the violations.
In January, Pastner filed a lawsuit against Bell and Pendley, claiming the pair attempted to extort and blackmail he and his family.
