Georgia Tech announced Friday that the university will offer free tickets to the Yellow Jackets’ football game against Jacksonville State on Saturday to people displaced by Hurricane Irma.
According to an announcement on the Georgia Tech athletics website, Florida residents and residents of Georgia and South Carolina counties that are under evacuation orders can claim tickets for themselves and their immediate families for the game, which starts at noon.
The game is the first of the season for the Yellow Jackets in Bobby Dodd Stadium. They lost their first game in Mercedes Benz Stadium to Tennessee, 42-41.
Tickets can be claimed starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday on the Brittain Dining Hall Lawn. All that is needed to claim the tickets are a valid state-issued I.D.
