Missouri’s recruiting Class of 2019 continues to creep toward a top-25 ranking.
On Saturday, Saint Louis (Mo.) John Burroughs School cornerback Derrick Miller became the latest to pledge to coach Matt Campbell and his staff. Miller committed to Iowa State over offers from Iowa, Air Force and a slew of Ivy League programs, among others.

A 3-star prospect, Miller has made a pair of unofficial visits to Ames (Iowa) this offseason. One came in late January and the other in late March. The next time Miller tours the Cyclones campus, he’ll do so as an Iowa State commit.
With Miller, the nation’s No. 980 player and the No. 101 cornerback, committed, the 2019 class consists of 10 members and ranks No. 29 nationally and No. 4 in the Big 12.
Miller joins fellow Missouri resident and 3-star safety Vonzell Kelley (Lee’s Summit) as Iowa State’s defensive back commits.
