Sunday has now become a multiple pledge day for Matt Campbell and the Iowa State Cyclones.
Just hours after 3-star New Deal (Texas) wide receiver DK Blaylock selected the Cyclones, Bloomingdale High School (Valrico, Fla.) athlete Levi Williams did the same and announced his commitment to Iowa State.

A versatile talent with offers from West Virginia, USF, Western Kentucky, Toledo, and Southern Miss, among others, Williams visited Iowa State on June 14, but he’s fresh off of a trip to USF, which serves as a notable recruiting victory for Campbell in landing a prospect from Charlie Strong’s backyard.

Although he’s unranked, the 6-foot, 170-pound Williams brings a diverse skill set to the table. As a junior, he rushed 58 times for 372 yards and 4 touchdowns, hauled in 9 receptions for 87 yards, and on the other side of the ball, Williams totaled 36 tackles, 6 pass breakups and 1 interception.
With Williams on board, Iowa State has earned its second commitment of the day and its fourth since Friday. Campbell’s class is now up to 15 members, and ranks No. 35 nationally and No. 6 in the Big 12.
