After officially visiting Manhattan, Kan., on April 5, Trice pledged to the Wildcats over offers from Oklahoma, Illinois, New Mexico and Washington State.
“I feel as if I have made a decision that would be best for me and my family,” Trice said in his Twitter announcement. “On that note I am extremely excited to announce that I have committed to Kansas State University #EMAW.”
A 6-foot-7, 230-pound talent, Trice averaged 12.6 points, 12.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game as a sophomore. His commitment will significantly bolster a K-State 2018 class that previously held just one signature from 3-star point guard Shaun Williams.
Trice is ranked as the nation’s No. 5 JUCO prospect and the No. 1 JUCO power forward, per the 247Sports composite.
