Kansas State recorded its best win of 2017 on Nov. 18 when the Wildcats stormed into Stillwater, Okla. to defeat No. 13 Oklahoma State. The win marked the team’s first over a ranked opponent all season.

Six Kansas State players were named to Pro Football Focus’ latest Big 12 team of the week on Wednesday — the most of any team in the conference.

Wide receiver Byron Pringle and offensive tackle Dalton Risner earned honors among players on offense. Pringle broke out for 4 touchdowns and 204 all-purpose yards in the triumph over the Cowboys.
Linebackers Trent Tanking and Jayd Kirby were joined by safety Kendall Adams and defensive tackle Will Geary among defense players named to the team. Tanking earned a grade of 89.3 — the highest of any player on the entire Big 12 team — after intercepting Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph twice on Saturday.
Kansas State, now bowl-eligible, can post a winning regular-season record with a victory over Iowa State in the team’s regular-season finale on Nov. 25. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT from Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan, Kan.
