The Kansas State Wildcats will lose center Reid Najvar for the season due to concussion-related injuries, according to Pete Mundo of Heartland College Sports.
Najvar, a 6’4″, 295 pound senior from Spring, Texas, was a Rimington Watch List member heading into this season and earned honorable mention Big 12 honors last year.
He played just two games in each of his first two seasons as a guard before making the switch to center in his junior year.
Sophomore Adam Holtorf and junior Dalton Risner have both been floated out as possible replacements for Najvar in the center position. Risner started at center as a freshman in 2015 before moving to the tackle position.
