Junior college defensive back Tancey Richardson has been committed to Kansas State for months, but he may not be heading to the Little Apple after all. On Thursday, Richardson announced that he’s reopening his recruitment.
Opening My Recruitment ✊🏾

Richardson initially committed to Kansas State out of high school but was unable to academically qualify and instead headed to Fort Scott Community College, about 3 hours away in Fort Scott, Kan. Throughout his career at Fort Scott, he seemed destined for Kansas State anyway.
Richardson committed to Kansas State again in December, but that commitment has now fallen by the wayside. Richardson has received interest from several other schools during his career at Fort Scott but hasn’t received any new offers of note.
With Richardson’s de-commitment, Kansas State’s 2019 recruiting class is now down to just one player: 3-star Kansas City defensive tackle Cooper Beebe.
