Just moments into the second round, the Charlotta Hornets selected former Kansas Jayhawks star Devonte’ Graham with the No. 34 overall pick.
The reigning Big 12 Player of the Year, Graham averaged 17.3 points, 7.2 assists and 4 rebounds per game last season as the key cog in Kansas’ latest Final Four run. Graham was also honored as a Consensus All-American.
Throughout his four years at Kansas, Graham totaled
1,750 points, 632 assists, 439 rebounds, and 197 steals, and did so while making notable progress each season. He converted upwards of 40 percent of his career three-point attempts.
The headliner of the Jayhawks 2017-18 roster, Graham was the first former Kansas player to be selected in this year’s draft.
