Kansas center Udoka Azubuike threw down a dunk that literally stopped the game Wednesday during an exhibition matchup in Italy.
The Jayhawks were facing Stella Azzurra in Rome in the first game of their Italian exhibition tour. And during the first half, Azubuike nearly pulled down the rim with a thunderous dunk that lifted up the base of the goal. Check out the video from the Kansas City Star’s Jesse Newell.

Officials actually had to stop play to add more weight the bottom of the goal, according to Newell.
Azubuike is a former McDonald’s All-American who played in six games as a freshman last year before a wrist injury ended his season. He averaged 5.0 points on 62.9 percent shooting last season with 4.4 rebounds per game.
Kansas led the game against Stella Azzurra 58-29 at halftime.
