Kansas has a special talent on its hands in the form of 2018 signee Quentin Grimes.
A 5-star guard out of The Woodlands (Texas) College Park, Grimes has represented the Jayhawks in this year’s McDonald’s All-American game, and more recently, at the Jordan Brand Classic on Sunday.
It’s as if Grimes is at his best when he’s on a national stage.
As part of a 146-136 victory, Grimes poured on 15 points on 7 of 11 field goals, added 9 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals, and did it all in impression fashion.

A 6-foot-5 pure scorer, Grimes serves as the headliner of what’s currently the nation’s No. 6-ranked recruiting class. Grimes is ranked as the nation’s No. 11 player, the No. 2 combo guard prospect and the No. 1 overall player in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite.
Once again, Grimes proved exactly why he’s worthy of such a ranking at the Jordan Brand Classic.
