Chris Mack is closing in on landing his first commitment as the coach at Louisville.
Orlando Robinson, a 4-star center from Las Vegas, Nev., narrowed the schools he is interested to five. Louisville made the cut, along with Fresno State, Georgia Tech, Oregon State and Boise State.
“It’s about fit in those systems and program. That’s what we’re looking for,” Lamar Bigby, Robinson’s AAU coach, told 247Sports’ Mike Hughes. “I don’t know that Louisville would have been an option with Rick Pitino, but with Chris Mack it’s a total different program. I think Mack is going to develop his pros. His kids are going to stay in school.”
I would like to thank all the schools that have shown interest in me or recruited me. But I've decided to continue my journey with these five schools below. God bless 🙏🏾🔝 pic.twitter.com/Y1C4Vvs5l5
