Louisville football will be without one of its most highly touted 2017 recruits for an undetermined amount of time.
Freshman running back Colin Wilson is sidelined after having surgery to repair a broken bone in his hand, coach Bobby Petrino said Wednesday according to Louisville Courier-Journal.
Wilson was a 4-star recruit out of Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay, rated as the No. 225 player in the country by the 247sports Composite.
Petrino reportedly said seniors Reggie Bonnafon, Jeremy Smith and Malik Williams continue to split first-team reps.
