One of Louisville football’s first commitments in the 2018 cycle dropped his pledge on Tuesday.
Homestead (Fla.) South Dade safety Jamal Anderson announced he is de-committing from the Cardinals and re-opening his recruitment.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Anderson committed to Louisville in July 2016, pouncing on one of his first scholarship offers. He is rated as the No. 62 safety in the country by the 247sports composite.
Louisville now has 13 commitments in its 2018 class, which is ranked 39th in the nation and ninth in the ACC by 247Sports.
