Louisville football had a good Fourth of July, as the Cardinals landed a pair of commitments.
Miami linebacker Robert Hicks III and Georgia defensive end Thurman Geathers both picked the Cardinals on the holiday, boosting Louisville’s 2018 recruiting class.
Hicks, who plays at Miami Central, was the first to commit on the day when he made his announcement around 3 p.m. He picked the Cardinals over offers from Auburn, Miami, Oregon and more.
