New Louisville coach Chris Mack is new on the job, but he’s being aggressive on the graduate transfer market. The Cardinals have visits set up with three players in April:
So Louisville will:
– visit Fordham grad transfer guard Joseph Chartouny on Friday
– host a campus visit for Florida Gulf Coast grad transfer guard Zach Johnson on Sunday
– host a campus visit for South Carolina-Upstate grad transfer guard Mike Cunningham April 25-27

Johnson would likely be the most significant addition for a Louisville team that needs outside shooting. He averaged 16.1 points per game last year and made 39.2 percent of his 3-pointers; Johnson scored 37 points in Florida Gulf Coast’s conference title game against Lipscomb.
Chartouny is an all-around force. He just averaged 12.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.3 steals per game for Fordham, which is where Eric Paschall played before transferring to Villanova. Cunningham averaged 13.7 points and shot 38 percent from 3-point land for the Spartans in 2017-18.
Mack is doing everything he can to improve the roster. Landing any of these guys would be a big deal.
