Standing at 6-foot-5 and 284 pounds, Campbell is a 3-star prospect from Orlando, FL. He chose Miami instead of Florida, who was reportedly his second choice. Campbell also received offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA and USC.
“It’s all about The U,” he said over the weekend according to InsideTheU via 247Sports. “I knew Miami was going to be the pick the first time I went there. It just felt different than all of the other schools.”
247Sports lists Campbell as the country’s 34th-best offensive tackle in this upcoming class. Campbell is the third offensive lineman committed to Miami for 2018.
With this latest addition, the Hurricanes moved back in front of Ohio State for the top 2018 recruiting class.
