Miami made a habit off rattling off win after win in its three major sports this year. Per the university’s research, the Hurricanes were the only major-college program to have 10-game winning streaks in football, men’s basketball and baseball during the 2017-18 school year.

Mark Richt and the Hurricanes re-emerged as a college football power by opening the 2017 season with 10 consecutive wins, vaulting as high as No. 2 in the AP Poll.
The men’s basketball team also began the season with a lengthy winning streak, notching 10 victories in a row. The fast start set the table for what would be a second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
Miami baseball closed out the regular season on a 10-game winning streak. The seventh-seeded Hurricanes play 11th-seeded Notre Dame on Tuesday to begin pool play in the ACC Tournament.
Winning 10 games in a row is difficult in its own right, but to do it in the ACC is something completely different. The conference hosts some of the best college basketball, football and baseball in the country.
Miami has made a run to be one of the ACC’s best athletic programs over the past few years, and this recent tidbit provides evidence to that.
