Miami football could have some new alternate uniforms this season, according to a report from the Palm Beach Post. The report, citing a source, indicates that Miami could bring back green and black alternate uniforms for unspecified games in the 2017 season.
Second-year Miami head coach Mark Richt reportedly supported a change to a traditional Miami look, as he played quarterback at the U from 1978-82.
“I think that’s a really classy look for our program and one that I want to continue to have as long as I’m around,” said Richt.
Throughout last season, Miami wore orange home jerseys and white road jerseys.
