N.C. State football went 7-6 a season ago, capping off its .500 regular season with a bowl win. But the expectations are much higher for the Wolfpack in 2017, something that is evident externally and internally.
On Wednesday, senior defensive end Bradley Chubb told reporters he thinks there’s a lot more N.C. State is capable of doing on the football field — and he wants to make sure it is seen.
“We haven’t even touched what we can do,” Chubb said, according to the Raleigh News & Observer. “I know what this team can do, and everybody on this team knows what we can do, and I’m excited to go out there and unleash it on everybody and show the world what we do.”
On Tuesday, the Wolfpack checked in at No. 23 in CBSSports’ preseason Top 25 rankings, one of six ACC teams in the rankings.
Earlier this summer, ESPN analyst Cole Cubelic predicted N.C. State as one of his College Football Playoff teams.
